Stingle Christopher Stingle
Trumpet
 

Christopher Stingle is a native of Philadelphia, PA. He studied trumpet with Jeffrey Curnow at Temple University before completing his B.M. with David Bilger at the Curtis Institute of Music. Previous to joining the New Jersey Symphony, he was a member of Symphony in C (formerly the Haddonfield Symphony) and frequently performed with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, Lancaster Symphony Orchestra, Reading Symphony Orchestra, and Ocean City Pops Orchestra among others.

Christopher was a fellow at the National Repertory Orchestra and at the Music Academy of the West where he studied with Joseph Burgstaller and Paul Merkello. He also attended the Aspen Music Festival and School where he studied with Louis Ranger. Other primary teachers include Bonnie Strang, John Thyhsen of the Philadelphia Pops, and James Thompson of the Eastman School of Music.

In his spare time, Christopher enjoys reading, drinking coffee, barefoot and minimalist shoe running, biking, and drawing.
