NJSO FAMILY SERIES
“THE COMPOSER IS DEAD”

Music by Nathaniel Stookey with text by Lemony Snicket
Where exactly were the violins on the night in question? Did anyone see the harp? In this perplexing murder mystery, everyone seems to have a motive, everyone has an alibi and nearly everyone is a musical instrument! But the composer is still dead. Join the Inspector as he sniffs out clues and interrogates all the suspects. Can you solve the mystery before he does?

JACKIE EVANCHO AND
THE NEW JERSEY SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
Dream with Me in Concert
When Jackie Evancho submitted a video to YouTube to compete for a slot on "America's Got Talent," she could never have predicted that a little push of the “send” button would eventually send her to the top of the entertainment industry. Remarkably, Jackie was only 10 years old at the time, but her long-held desire to perform (sparked after seeing the film version of The Phantom of the Opera) convinced her parents to let her take a chance at stardom.
