SPANISH INSPIRATION
Savor the spicy, earthy notes of Rimsky-Korsakov’s Iberian-tinged Capriccio and Lalo’s “symphonie,” a violin concerto in disguise. Verdi’s passionate overture brings a pleasing blast of heat, while Ravel’s suite soothes with silken melodies.
