Witches gather on Mussorgsky’s Bald Mountain, while Rachmaninoff rings ingenious changes on a demonic theme by Paganini. Puerto Rican composer Sierra’s romantic, Latin-tinged Fourth Symphony

BEETHOVEN Leonore Overture No. 3
POULENC Concerto for Two Pianos
BRAHMS Symphony No. 2
Beethoven's Leonore Overture No. 3 introduces Poulenc’s lighthearted, jazz-influenced double concerto, played by twin sisters! Brahms composed his second symphony while visiting the Austrian Alps; abundant in flowing melodies, it finds the composer in a cheerful and expansive mood.

Please Note: Due to illness, conductor Miguel Harth-Bedoya is
unable to lead the NJSO this week. We are pleased to welcome Michael Stern to the podium.
